About us

After working together at London Borough of Barnet we decided we needed a new venture, and so in 2006 we set up the NOW magazines from our kitchen tables!

Starting off in black and white and learning along the way, we feel very proud of the colourful and well used publications the NOW magazines have become.

Having both lived locally we knew the area well but after searching for events and contacting local businesses to be included in the magazines, were surprised to discover just how much the local area has to offer right on our doorsteps.

We work hard every month to make the magazines the best they can be and as a result have met lots of interesting people, doing all sorts of businesses and events, from Hairdressing, Hearing Services, Homecare, Fencing, Footcare and Funeral Directors to Pest Control, Plasterers, Property Maintenance and Plumbers.

We do everything from layout and advert design to sourcing content, editorial and proof reading.

We continue to receive lots of positive feedback from readers and advertisers, which proves that magazines like ours are still read, liked, and well used in this ever-changing digital world.

So we’ll continue to publish the magazines for as long as they continue to be useful which we hope will be for many years to come!
